Muireann DuffyTwo people have been killed in separate road traffic collisions in Limerick and Louth overnight. The crash took place on the Dublin Road at around 9.50pm, with the driver of one of the cars failing to remain at the scene. Gardaí confirmed the Dublin Road from the junction at Groody Roundabout through to the Gold Links Road has been closed to traffic while a technical examination of the scene is carried out. Anyone with information in relation to this collision is asked to contact Drogheda Street Garda station on 041-987 4200.
